I’ve had a real interest in Mike Shine’s work for a while now, I just really like his unique style and what he does with objects that would otherwise be discarded. I’ve actually got a stack of boat timbers that I scored one morning off the rocks from around the Mount that I’ve now been inspired to get out of the shed.

New to ‘My Boutique’ is New Zealand designer Katie-maree Cole, after being selected by Karen Walker as a finalist in the Air New Zealand Inspiring New Zealanders competition where she spent time in KW’s workroom, the passion to launch her own brand arrived and last year her designs that explored the adventure of being a woman, the beauty and the elegance hit the boutiques. ooh la la!!
